MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday said subpoenas have already been issued against several individuals allegedly linked to the killing of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Board Secretary Wesley Barayuga.
PNP Spokesperson Brigadier General Jean Fajardo said the PNP-Crime Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) also subpoenaed documents.
“Meron mga inisyuhan, nagpadala ng subpoena ang CIDG (there were subpoenas issued, the CIDG sent them) to some particular individuals, without naming them, that they think would somehow shed more light in this case and of course,” said Fajardo in a press conference.
